Zamberlan Jack Rabbit Neon GTX high visibility boots

Being at the gates of the hunting season, that for some has already started, we had the pleasure to test the new Zamberlan's boot: the Jackrabbit Neon GTX. Already presented at Hit Vicenza 2018, the boot perfectly represents the spirit of the shoe factory that has been investing a great deal in the research of innovative materials and the quality of “Made in Italy” for almost 90 years.

These boots feature a hard rubber toecap that protects the front of the foot from rocks and sharp edges.

At its third generation, the hunting line-up is larger and larger and can satisfy even the most demanding hunter. In particular, for those hunting in the thick of the wood, whether woodcock or wild boar hunters, there is a specific high visibility line designed specifically for that type of environment and hunting. One of these models is the Jackrabbit, this time in the bright green version called Neon GTX.

features and peculiarities

Zamberlan Jackrabbit Neon GTX: snodo FlexSistem
The FlexSistem clamp at ankle height facilitates foot rolling.

It is a boot designed in detail for hunting in hill and mountain forests – it doesn't matter whether the ground is stony or not.

The Vibram Zamberlan soles always guarantee maximum grip whether you're climbing a slope or, conversely, coming down it; while the hard rubber toecap protects the front of the foot from rocks and sharp edges.

During our tests both the 2.6 mm thick leather upper and the 360° GoreTex lining always guaranteed maximum resistance, impermeability and breathability. The clamp at ankle height called FlexSistem, that facilitates foot rolling allowing you to walk in a natural and comfortable way, is noteworthy. It should be stressed that the last of the model we're talking about is a wide one and this makes the boot suitable also for wider feet.

For now, test is passed, but we will know more this fall when we will go hunting with setter dogs. In the meantime, we made a roe deer inventory and we shot a video for you.
