In two online auctions on January 31 and February 1, 2023, the Munich auction house Hermann Historica will once again offer numerous exquisite, rare lots with a lot of arms history. The auction “Fine Antique and Modern Firearms” always promises a fine assortment, and in the “Antique Arms and Armour from all over the world” auction catalog  you can find numerous, often exotic pieces.

On October 24, 2022, it's that time again: Hermann Historica is going to start with the next fine antique and modern firearms auction. This time, more than 670 lots are waiting for a new owner. But after that, the auction continues: on October 25, the Binker Collection (576 lots) will go under the hammer. We have taken a closer look at some of the highlights of the auctions for you.

The tireless activity of the German Hermann Historica auction house continues. Although no records were broken in the June 22 round, there was quite a movement of interesting pieces. For some of them the interest was predictable and expected, for others less so. Let's take a look at some of the pieces auctioned off and a real oddity still for sale – a "fleet-show" revolver.

On June 22, 2022, Hermann Historica will auction off a rich catalog of fine and antique arms that will see nearly nine hundred lots pass under the auctioneer's hammer. Analysis the sales results of the latest Hermann Historica auction, held on May 22, we can recognize a trend of which some signs had already been detected: the firearms most desired by collectors – or at least the ones they spend the most money on – are now the guns from the 20th century. The antique arms trend still holds some certainty, but no more surprises.

+++ Update 16 December 2021 +++ As reported, the time had come on 24 November 2021. About 900 lots of firearms from five centuries went under the hammer.
